MEN'S FASHION FREEDOM

Men�s Fashion Freedom is a philosophical movement crusading to increase fashion emancipation for men by championing the practice of incorporating items traditionally associated with alternative fashions or women�s fashion into either a masculine or an androgynous fashion statement.

Women have not only gained fashion equality with men but now have a far greater choice in fashion then men have & a growing number of men have asked why should women have a far greater choice in fashion? So the philosophical movement of Men�s Fashion Freedom has evolved from the frustrations at the gender clothing apartheid, the inequalities & restrictions its created surrounding men�s fashion.

The Gender Apartheid can be summed up by the rather unfair convention that it�s socially acceptable for any women to wear trousers & their hair short yet it�s not socially acceptable to wear skirts & their hair long. Abolishing the gender fashion apartheid is the ultimate aim of Men�s Fashion Freedom. Campaigning for a day when man can walk down a street wearing a skirt & his hair long without the fear of being bombarded with abusive remarks. Campaigning for a day when any man is free to be more elaborate with there image free from the bombardment of insult & derision

Men�s Fashion Freedom isn�t just a philosophy of theory, the philosophy of Men�s Fashion Freedom isn�t for the closet, it is a philosophy for the public arena. Being as the best way for Men�s Fashion Freedom to succeed in gaining fashion equality & emancipation is not just to preach but by the pro-active task of display & demonstration again & again & then again. Because the more that Men�s Fashion Freedom is practiced in the public arena the more of an impact it will register on the radar of the mainstream fashion philosophy & register on the larger cultural zeitgeist.

The philosophy of Men�s Fashion Freedom might seem something offbeat or something to be considered as alternative or a philosophical cult. But the aspiration is to be incorporated into the mainstream because it will bring genuine fashion emancipation for men. That practicing Men�s Fashion Freedom is an everyday occurrence, that it�s an everyday occurrence see a guy out in public wearing a dress & make up. That men are able to be more elaborate with there image free from insult & derision, that there is no longer any kind of the gender clothing apartheid & restrictions upon men�s fashion.
